Bounce house looks soft or is deflating
Inflatables have small vents so air keeps moving, and some softness is normal on very hot days. If it’s clearly deflating:
- Blower running? Check that air is flowing.
- Air tube attached? The tube from the blower to the unit should be tied on with no gaps.
- Flaps and velcro closed? All closures should be sealed.
- Seams OK? A split seam is rare, but stop play and call if you see one.
Blower stopped / no power
- Plug and switch. Plug can get bumped loose; switch should be ON.
- Test the outlet with a phone charger.
- GFCI outlet? Press RESET (kitchens, baths, garages, outdoors).
- Breaker panel. Flip a tripped breaker fully OFF, then ON.
- Unplug everything else on that circuit. The blower needs its own.
On a generator? Check fuel first. Start the generator before plugging in the blower, and keep it at least 20 ft from the inflatable.
Water slide isn’t slippery enough
- Hose connected and turned on all the way.
- Sprinkler nozzles at the top not clogged.
- Low pressure? Turn off other hoses and sprinklers.
- Keep water running the whole time kids are sliding.
Dry unit is wet inside
- Morning dew, overnight rain or South Florida humidity: wipe down with towels.
- Never put water on a dry-only slide. It can damage the unit and add fees.
A stake came loose / anchoring
- Grass: heavy-duty stakes. Hard surfaces: sandbags.
- Never remove, adjust or move a unit after setup.
One blower, one circuit
Every blower runs the whole time the unit is up, so each blower/unit needs its own dedicated 15-amp circuit with a standard 3-prong 120 V outlet within 50 ft. We bring our own heavy-duty cords. Parks usually have no power, so add a generator.

Measure before you book
Every unit page lists its setup area (length × width × height). Measure your yard, and look up for tree branches, wires and patio covers. A few real examples from our catalog:

Backyard checklist
- Clear rocks, sticks, pet waste and sharp objects
- Grass is best; dirt, asphalt and concrete work. No rocks or gravel
- Gate or path at least 3 ft wide (5 ft recommended); big units weigh 650+ lb
- Sprinklers off in the setup area
- Hose within reach for water slides
- Pool nearby? Tell us when you book
Park checklist
- Reserve your park space and have the permit ready
- Generator: most parks have no outlets
- Flat ground away from sprinklers and slopes
- Truck access close to the setup spot
- Ensure vehicle access for our delivery truck to unload
- Some parks have time restrictions — confirm setup and pickup windows
- Confirm your scheduled pickup time with the driver
Wind, rain and Miami heat
Wind 15+ mph
Get everyone out and turn the blower off, even if it’s staked.
Lightning or thunder
Everyone out right away. Blower off.
Heat
Water breaks and shade. Vinyl feels softer when it’s hot. That’s normal.
House rules for jumpers
- An adult (18+) watches the unit the whole time
- Group kids by size and age
- Follow the max capacity posted on the unit
- No shoes, glasses, jewelry, pens or belt buckles
- No food, drinks, gum or lollipops inside
- No flips, wrestling or roughhousing
- No pets in or near the unit
Keep it clean, skip the fees
Keeping it clean
Units arrive clean and are sanitized on site. During the party:
- Wipe entrance and slide with a damp cloth
- Water and mild soap only, no harsh chemicals
- Clear leaves and grass that blow inside
What causes charges
- Silly string, confetti, glitter, markers or face paint
- Food, drinks, mud or accidents: minimum $75 cleaning fee
- Damage from ignoring safety rules (for example, blower left on in high wind)
